How To Setup Your Jooki Music Player

Connect Your Jooki Music Player to the Internet

IMPORTANT:

  • Be sure to be near your WiFi router to ensure a good connection.
  • Be sure to have your home WiFi password at hand, you will need it.

1. Power on Jooki - press on the power button

Wait a few more seconds... Your Jooki is turned on when you hear a sound.

2. Connect to Jooki's setup WiFi

Go to your WiFi settings, and look for "jooki-xxxx-setup". Select it.

3. Give Jooki access to your home WiFi

EITHER: 
> a pop-up automatically appears: select your Home WiFi network from the drop-down box and enter your password.
OR:
> please open the web page http://wifi.jooki.rocks then select your Home WiFi network from the drop-down box and enter your password.

TIP: if you cannot connect to wifi.jooki.rocks it's possible that your Home WiFi uses a hard-coded DNS setting. Try to connect to http://10.0.0.1 instead.

4. Relax - Jooki is connecting to your Home WiFi

While Jooki connects to your Home WiFi, your computer or smartphone will be automatically disconnected from Jooki's setup WiFi.

5. Connect your smartphone or computer to your Home WiFi

Most likely your computer or smartphone has automatically reconnected to your Home WiFi. You should be all done. Congratulations!

TIP: Go to your WiFi settings to make sure your computer or smartphone is back on your Home WiFi. 

TIP: You can check if everything went fine
Go to your WiFi settings:
> jooki-xxxx-setup has DISAPPEARED = Well done! You're all good.
> jooki-xxxx-setup is still there = setup has failed, you need to start again at step 2.

Go to Jooki's app and create your first playlist 

You can choose to do it on your smartphone or your computer.

A. On your computer

Go to the web page my.jooki.rocks

B. On your smartphone

1. Install Jooki's app

Go to Google Play Store (for Android users) or to the App Store (for iPhone users), search for "Jooki".

Download and install the app.

2. Open Jooki's app and create your first playlist!
